You may have seen YouTube clips featuring cute animated characters. Teachers, professors, and business people are creating videos like these, using software on XtraNormal.com.

You can make one too. Creating a short, simple, but professional-looking, video clip is easy to do. Choose characters from hundreds of options, ranging from space aliens to Lego-Einstein. Then, choose a scene. Next, type in dialogue for a selected voice to read or your characters could lip-sync to recorded dialogue. Finally, press the button to create a video clip; it's that simple.If your message requires greater complexity, you can control the emotions and gestures of your characters, add sound effects such as background traffic noise, and select varying camera angles.

Not only can you can repeatedly edit your video, but longer video options are available as well. Moreover, you can create links to an online copy of your video and download a file containing it.

Downsides: After creating an account and your first clip, you will find that you need to pay to create further videos. Apparently you cannot design your own characters or backgrounds, nor can you have more than two characters.

The basic requirements are that you need a well-specified objectives and a good script.

You may find this software to be useful for principle 5.9.2 “If resistance is expected, use indirect conclusions when the arguments are strong and obvious.”
